To further our joint missions of supporting our spouses and giving back to our community, we will be holding a holiday bazaar this upcoming December 2019. Vendor registration for the bazaar will be open to all hands, and the event will be open to the entire Whidbey Island community. It will provide an opportunity for military spouses to network and families to enjoy an afternoon out.
We will announce the date and further details of the 2019 event later this fall.
Spouse Home Business Exhibit Hall
Are you a military spouse with a home business? Many spouses start their own businesses so they can keep working while moving with their service members. The OSCWI wants to support them by providing an opportunity to get the word out about their businesses.
Spouses will be able to reserve space to showcase their goods or services at this year’s bazaar. We will announce reservation rates and guidelines later this fall.
The 2018 holiday bazaar was held on December 1, 2018, at the CPO Club. It featured a spouse home business exhibit hall, holiday wreathes handmade by OSCWI spouses available for purchase, and a children’s clothing closet. Through this event, the OSCWI provided an opportunity for over 20 military spouse businesses to increase their visibility and acquire customers during the holiday season.
